Our plane left Orlando at 7:45am so we had to get up early; actually Lisa got up early and did most the packing. We made it to the airport with plenty of time to return the rental car and grab a skycap to check in our luggage. It was sad to leave the 80° weather because we knew it was like 40° in Lamar.

Our layover in Dallas was another story. We were delayed nearly an hour because our plane had engine problems and they had to get us another one. Then we were stuck on the runway for another 20 minutes because of a luggage mix-up. Luckily the kids were asleep or they would have been fighting over the laptop because I think they were tired of sitting.

At any rate, we made it back to KCI with no problems and headed home after snagging some late lunch at Burger King.

It was great trip. We can't wait to go back.
