Well, here it is; our 10th trip to Disney. But we decided to go west this year. And what the heck, let's drive and see some sites along the way. So, we started our 11 day 10 state trip about 6am. We were trying to make Albuquerque (half way) by nightfall to get a good night's rest.

We headed through Oklahoma and into Texas. Not much to see out there. In Groom, TX we drove by the world's largest cross in the Western Hemisphere. And in Amarillo we stopped to see the buried Cadillacs. We started to see some small mountains as we headed more west. So that was good news, knowing we were heading the right way.

We got into Albuquerque about 5pm and checked into a nice La Quinta Inn. Then we had some Mexican food at a funky little place called Gardunas. After that the kids went swimming before we called it a day.
